According to various news reports, Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones and his wife, Sharon, have reportedly separated. Jones is in the final year of a successful 19 year career with the Braves organization and should be headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Jones and his wife have three sons. Jones also reportedly has another son by a previous marriage.

Naturally, professional sports players, like Hollywood celebrities, face many challenges, including long periods of separation while on the road, in making marriages work.
