Celebrity Divorces and Reconciliations: Billy Ray Cyrus and Acky-Breaky Hearts

Did you hear the good news out of Hollywood?  According to various news reports, country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his spouse have reconciled and reportedly dismissed their divorce case!  Also, Cyrus has announced that he and his actress-singer daughter, Miley Cyrus, have also reportedly patched up any problems or issues between them and that they are getting along better than ever--better than before their Hannah Montana days, according to Cyrus. 

We have all heard (and discussed here) about so many Hollywood marriages ending up on the rocks.  Here's hoping that this Hollywood marriage and some really nice folks--the Cyruses--will overcome their past "acky-breaky hearts" and find happiness together!

Celebrity Divorces: Billy Ray Cyrus

According to reports from various sources, singer Billy Ray Cyrus has blamed his daughter's (and his) television show, Hannah Montana, for his divorce and for the problems which he believes his daughter, Miley Cyrus, is currently facing.  What is your opinion?  Could the stressors of a t.v. show cause such serious family problems?

At first blush, some might think Mr. Cyrus may simply be making excuses.  However, in my opinion, maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt.  You must admit that being in a Hollywood fish bowl would put stress on any marriage and would complicate raising any teenager.

But no matter what the answer may be, here's hoping that, with good, loving parents like Billy Ray Cyrus and his ex-wife, Tish, their daughter, Miley Cyrus, will avoid the pitfalls being faced by Lindsay Lohan and will mature into a fine, responsible adult!

Have you heard the news about the divorce of country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife of 17 years? Sadly, and perhaps ironically, Mr. Cyrus, who, of course, is the father of singer-actress Miley Cyrus, is still perhaps best known for his hit song, "Achy Breaky Heart." I suppose this sad news about this celebrity split-up once again illustrates that the stressors and pressures of Hollywood, (or Nashville), can wreak havoc on celebrity marriages. But it also again illustrates that celebrities generally experience the same types of problems, and "acky breaky hearts," as everyone else. Don't you agree? And I am sure you will also agree that we should all hope that this talented family will soon get past this difficult time.
